"[The kingdom of God] is God's work in history by which he overcomes all his opponents and establishes his righteousness in the earth." John Frame, The Doctrine of the Christian Life, p. 307.
Jesus faced a considerable amount of opposition for His hard words and unflinching devotion to Yahweh. No surprise then if we find our name festooned in barroom ballads (cf. Ps 69:12).
